Following the success of last years New Years Eve Ball we decided to do it all again!!! The theme for this one was a ‘masked parade’ and I must say we had some fantastic masked on show! This year it was slightly more difficult to get organised because of the snow and bad weather – we had to clear the all snow off the back garden before we could get the marquee up! Then there was the puddles of melted snow in the car park we had to fill with gravel, then the logistics of pulling everything together so bar, crockery, cutlery, catering units, fridge van and stock were all delivered on time and in order!! Happily to say it all came together nicely. The guests started arriving at 6.30 for canapés and bubbly and I’m sure everyone who came will agree the marquee looked beautiful. Paul and his team did an excellent job on the food and there was plenty of drinking and dancing! After lots of hard work, long hours and lack of sleep all for one night we asked ourselves ‘would we do it again?’ and for some reason we reckon we will!
