Welcome to the photo page of our NYE Ball, what a night it was!!! All the planning and hard work certainly paid off; although there were a few moments that made us pull our hair out during the preparation!

The marquee started arriving at the end of the previous week and was finished off on the Monday before NYE, heaters were tested first because we knew it was going to be a freezing cold night – we were just hoping it didn’t rain as well, heaters were good, one obstacle over come! Next it was plug everything in time and cross our figures we had enough power to our ‘big tent’ in the garden, so there Paul was powering up the kitchen kit and I was ‘supervising and praying’ at the same time when it tripped out and left us standing in darkness – fantastic. Anyway a frantic phone call to our savour & electrician ‘Pete’ made everything better, Pete did something somewhere somehow got extra power and told Paul one of his bits of kitchen kit was faulty hence it tripping. So one thing sorted and another problem created, luckily Paul managed to get hold of some more kit! We spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday setting up and sorting out and by about 5 to 7 on NYE we were ready to go!!!! The night itself went like clockwork and everyone that came made such an effort and looked totally glamorous & gorgeous (well at least the ladies did!!), the chefs worked so hard and the food was fabulous and I managed to wait until 11 before I cracked open a bottle of wine! A big thank you to all of you who came, and if you missed out don’t worry we are going to put ourselves through it all again folks in the Summer and next NYE!
